Daly was Counsel to Commissioner Kathleen L. Casey at the SEC, where he advised the Commissioner on high-level agency matters, with a particular focus on policy and rulemaking issues involving the Division of Investment Management, the Division of Trading and Markets, the Division of Enforcement, and the Office of Compliance, Inspections, and Examinations.
Prior to that, he served on Capitol Hill for over a decade. In the Senate, Daly was Senior Counsel and Chief Securities Counsel to the Banking Committee. In the House, he was Senior Counsel and Chief Securities Counsel to the Financial Services Committee. In 2012, Daly served on the Romney Readiness Project’s five-member SEC & CFTC Review Team.
